Quick updates for today…

G-tube surgery will be tomorrow (Friday) morning. It’s expected to take around an hour, and seems to be pretty routine.

Dallas got another visit from Maggie May (therapy dog from last week) first thing this morning. Maggie May climbed into bed with her and they shared lots of snuggles together. We also received some fresh picked flowers from Maggie May’s owners – such caring and wonderful people!

Some time was spent outside, and OT actually walked with us down to the courtyard to work with Dallas… a pleasant change of scenery for therapy!

The plan continues to be making the migration to Levine sometime next week, and we’ll use these next few days to recover from the G-tube surgery. We hope to have a low key weekend, likely without much in terms of therapies or changes.

With that, we may not post updates over the next few days, as there might not be much to share on a daily basis.

Thank you for sharing updates and being vulnerable about Dallas’s procedures/treatments. This picture hits home for all parents, Brett. We are praying for her recovery and all of you. Our hope is in Jesus. He knows Dallas and her circumstances. May you all cling to him for wisdom, guidance and comfort.
