March 31, 2025
Our girl had a fairly quiet night. Her BP was a bit higher out of the gate this morning of 131/87 and temp stayed consistent at or near 100 degrees.
Her lungs were a bit junky today, which is frustrating because she doesn't have any viruses (that testing has revealed) going on. Her nurse started doing chest PT throughout the day to help loosen things up in hopes of producing a productive cough. ... Continue Reading
Rest and recovery are underway!

Since yesterday afternoon, Dallas has been mostly in an initial "resting and recovering" phase of her ANE episode. After the first round of steroids last night, she was also given a dose IVIG to assist in the efforts. EKG leads were placed by midnight to monitor for potential seizure activity (common when this sort of thing is going on), but I'm thankful to report that no seizure activity was noted in this ... Quick Update…

Our little Dallas has been battling a fever since early Wednesday morning. We took her into the hospital in ILM for some fluids last night and were discharged today around lunchtime.
Immediately following discharge, Dallas made a sudden change and became VERY disoriented, distraught, and inconsolable - like nothing we’d ever seen before. We rushed her back into the ER and the attending doc wasted no time consulting with D’s med team at ... Continue Reading
